3D Zebra Crossing
What a fantastic innovation ... and all the way from Iceland.
Don't build a speed hump, rather, paint a 3D white Zebra Crossing.
It sounds simplistic, and it is but it is highly effective.
It reduces vehicle noise (over the hump) and reduces pollution from cars slowing and then speeding.
Unley Council is reviewing this concept to see if it is legally compliant in SA
It may not not comply with existing Australian standards.
If it doesn't then we should be pushing to get it approved.
